The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, according to.
