AC Shadows Introduces Surprising AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the official release, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret cult.
The mission concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
